Description

The Protec Caravan Cover from Protec Covers protects against UV rays, rain, rust, snow, sun, dust, dirt, tree sap, bird droppings etc.

Our exclusive Caravanshield fabric is fully breathable, providing protection for your caravan from mould, mildew and condensation as the cover will allow moisture to evaporate. It is also waterproof and UV stable, as well as having a soft non-scratch inner lining removing any risk of damage to your windows or paintwork.

Heavy weather protection is far superior to cheaper brands because each cover is tailor-made to the make and model of caravan (which it is important to tell us when purchasing).

If you are unsure of the external length of your caravan, then a good rule of thumb is to add 15 inches to the internal length from manufacturer's website. Don't worry if you make a mistake; we have an extensive database of sizes that we compare orders against and will simply contact you with any price difference.

THE PROTEC MATERIAL

The most important breakthrough for caravan covers was the development of our Caravanshield material, available only to Protec Covers. Previously other companies used plastics which caused a great deal of damage, scratching the van and causing condensation and mould due to the material’s toughness and lack of breathability.

There are now many similar materials on the market. However, some competing manufacturers still use materials which are known to scratch paintwork and windows.

Caravanshield a 3-ply material which is developed and manufactured here in the UK specifically for the caravan cover market.  The outer layer is available in three colours, dark green, light grey or royal blue.  The external layer is UV protected and comes with a 3-year warranty.  The inside membrane is non-abrasive so as to guarantee that the cover will not scratch your van.

The material’s innovative design ensures that it is waterproof but highly breathable.  Recent lab reports showed Protec Caravan Cover material Caravanshield to be the most breathable caravan cover material on the market.

Order Confirmation

After placing your order an order confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. This lets you know that Quality Caravan Awnings has received your order and your credit or debit card has been pre-authorised for the purchase amount. Once your order is received we automatically contact our suppliers who will confirm if your item is available for immediate shipment. If, for some reason the item is unavailable (e.g. on backorder) your pre-authorisation payment will be void and we will be in touch via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days) we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Shipment

Assuming your order is in stock, your credit card payment will be processed and the item will be shipped within 5 working days after the date of order. We will send a tracking information email 24 hours after your order leaves the warehouse. Please note, Leinwand products may take up to 2 - 3 weeks to be delivered.

Damaged Items

We ask that you inspect the packaging of your item(s) once it arrives, any damage which you notice please inform the courier and make a note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) arrive damaged please email photographs of the damage to info@QualityCaravanAwnings.com so that we can help with the insurance claim on your behalf.

We reserve the right to decline items which are deemed to have been damaged due to abuse (e.g as a result of being erected and incurring damage during a storm or damage that we deem to be wear and tear). This type of damage is not covered by our manufacturer's warranty.

Guarantee

All our products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 6 months from date of purchase unless otherwise specified. If a fault does occur during this period, we shall arrange to have the item repaired or replaced after it has been inspected.

Part Delivery / Damaged Goods

All your goods should arrive in perfect condition, however, if you do receive any goods that appear to be faulty or damaged, the company must be advised within 72 hours of receipt. This applies to any items that may appear to be missing, unless stated on the invoice that the item is currently out of stock. If any items are not to be used straight away, we advise customers to check that these have been received in perfect condition and working order. The company will do everything possible to ensure your delivery arrives on time and intact, we will not accept responsibility for any additional expenses occurred due to late or incomplete deliveries.

Cancellations & Refunds

Returns or cancellations may be requested for a period of 30 days from receiving an item. Any return requests after 30 days from the date of delivery will not be accepted. Any orders which are requested within 30 days from the date of delivery and are in an unopened package will be subject to a 25% processing and restocking fee. Once the order has been dispatched, the buyer (you) will take responsibility for covering the return shipping costs. We will advise the cost of returns as they vary between items.

Please note, we are unable to process returns for any items which have been opened or used. For an item to be eligible for return it must be in a resalable condition and packaged exactly as it was when received. It is only possible to process refunds to the same credit card that was used to place the order. We ask that customers please contact info@qualitycaravanawnings.com with details of their request so that a return authorisation number and return address can be issued.

Please note we are unable to accept returns for Sunncamp products.

Additionally, as Walker awnings are custom made for the specific make, model and year of your caravan, they are non-refundable.
